The Kyiv Independent provides fair and reliable news on a variety of topics. Nothing will escape the view of the Kyiv Independent: from Russia’s war against Ukraine and disinformation campaigns to the ongoing pandemic and medical procurement, from human rights in occupied Donbas and Crimea to reforms in Kyiv. The challenge was to develop a branding that could express all the importance, independence, and truthfulness that all members of the Kyiv Independent team directly carry. It has been crucial that we preserve the strict perception of classical media but also emphasize their independence.

Through the efforts of our entire team and close work with the members of the Kyiv Independent erase, out of 30 concepts, we picked out two winners and moved in that direction. The essence of the idea is the line that emphasizes the main thing We can erase this part, while the blue font highlights the main text.
